I recently found out about my great grandfather who was orphaned at age 3 in the late 1800s, but even after a step father took him in, he kept his name Ivan Dorofeyev., , Unfortunatly, Ivan's son Mikhail (my grandfather) passed away in 1972, so I have almost no information about my family heritage. So, while here in the US over the past few generations, my name has changed to Darafeev, I would still love to find out more about
