???? A rare and appreciated kind of weekend: a book, the ocean and coffee.
???? This construction view in the new area of Cancun makes me think what future I'd like to be a part of. Our even better: what steps I'm going to take today to create the future of my dreams?
???? Happy us after swimming with dolphins. That was a Christmas present for ajwaltonmarketing. Great memories.
???? I discovered #FuckUpNights yesterday. An international event where local entrepreneurs speak about their failures. Great event for people who are new to entrepreneurship and are looking for information and support. I wish I spoke Spanish to actually understand what people were sharing. At least, I got some useful contacts to local business communities.
???? Well hello Playa Del Carmen
???? Never too much of Frida
???? Typical Mexican weekend is when the whole family gathers and spends time on the beach. Grandmas and grandpas, all brothers, sisters, cousins, their kids and dogs. With snacks and drinks in the little fridge. So ours was just a little version of a typical weekend as there were just the three of us, with a very limited amount of food and beverages. Andrew and I aren't as patient as Mexicans ????, so JUST after an hour we started convincing our friend to go eat. Well, it was a good thing to try.
???? La Quinta Avenida (The Fifth Avenue) - a central walking street of Playa Del Carmen. Shops, restaurants and tourists. By the way, there are only the 5th, the 10th and the 15th avenues in this town. Really, why would you bother with the numbers in between?
???? How's your Spanish coming? I receive this question so often from my Mexican and foreign friends. I must say I don't do anything intentionally to learn it. I picked up a few must common phrases and that's it. What do they really ask me about? I'm assuming if I'm enjoying Mexican culture and appreciate it enough to put some efforts to learn it. I believe there are different ways to support cultures and people. For somebody the way might be to learn a language to connect with locals better and tell his

???? Yes, it's a tampon. #padmanchallenge encourages people to fight against shame around periods. They are natural and the reason we all exist. What was your first reaction? "Yes, I support the idea, but showing/talking about sanitary things on social media is too shocking"? That's it. Stigmatization. Of course, there is the time and place to discuss it, like any other personal information. But if we work on putting the topic from a "shame" to a "health" category, we empower women to get information on
???? Some lettering inspiration
???? I discovered that it's a completely different feeling to do something because you're tired or sad and desperately need it and because you deserved it.
???? Thanks for making Friday evening special ajwaltonmarketing and jilldianadelmar ????
???? If you told me 2 years ago I would become a digital nomad and impact people's lives while traveling the world, I wouldn't have believed you. If you told me 5 years ago I'll comfortable discussing all sorts of topics in English and marry a Canadian person, I'd have laughed. If you told me 7 years ago I'd be traveling extensively and visiting my hometown just for vacations, I'd have thought you're out of your mind. What would you tell me today?
???? Become famous and everyone will see the pages of your secret diary.
???? The Broken Spine 1944. Raids Kahlo had 33 surgeries - an iron handrail impaled her through her pelvis, fracturing the bone in a tragic accident in her childhood. She also fractured several ribs, her legs, and her collarbone. She spent a month in the hospital and about a year recovering at home tied to her bed. Despite that she still managed to become one of the most known Mexican artists. #noexcuses

???? What to do when your husband is off to another country for work? Fun! I wake up early (8.30 is early to me) and went for breakfast with dana.komrad. Should I go wild and go to the beach tomorrow? ????

???? Food pictures! That's what Instagram is for, isn't it? Would you be interested to know about Mexican cuisine? This particular thing is called enchiladas. It's surprisingly tasty for its simplicity. It's basically corn triangles of nachos with cream and sauce (green or red). Can be served with chicken or eggs. Maybe with something else, but I only came across these choices yet. It's like a serial breakfast, but healthier, since there's no sugar. If you consider corn healthy of course. This particular
???? A graffiti next to a construction place. Wow. 5 ⭐ for this lettering #cancunstreetart
???? Art fairy heard my requests and sent me this exhibition. julietabarriosreyes and samuelchavezmazatl: same techniques of print making - two different approach to life. If you're in Cancun until mid April, pay a visit to Centro Cultural de las Artes.
???? Remember I posted this one in process? Here's the final result. I'll take a close shot next time I pass there. It's beautiful to see ask the details on skin and hair here. If there's a hyperrealism in graffiti, that's it. #cancunstreetart
???? Piña Colada is a national drink of Puerto Rico and the most popular cocktail in the Caribbeans. Literally it mean shredded pineapple. You'll be disposed, but it was invented be a pirate to keep his crew up and running in 19th century, but the recipe was lost. Then Ramón "Monchito" Marrero, a Puerto Rican bartender, claims to have created the Piña Colada in 1954. And thanks to him for that, it's very tasty. Rupert Holmes even wrote The Piña Colada Song.
???? Want to improve these 5 things? Try ceramics: - PATIENCE. You technically can't make a complete piece for less than a week, but usually a month. - ACCEPTANCE. ???? Hi everyone! Happy Easter! I just watched a great Easter egg hunt movie Player One Ready. We started to use internet to dig information, than communication, then people mastered working online and even created crypto currencies. Spielberg shows the next stage: what happens when people have more chances to realise themselves in a virtual world than a real life. Where is a real one after all? Have you seen it? What you think?
???? Fun, appreciation and unity: I finally finished the presentation of #kawalton wedding, which was my first project in styling events. I just wanted to share this piece as it's too personal to go to my work profile, but I'm happy to show it to you ???? If your interested, the link to the whole project is in the bio of bloom_by_design. I describe there how we came up with an entertainment program, why a certain colour palette was chosen and show the site and the printables. I feel like a wedding expert
???? Good morning! Did you also start yours with coffee?

???? Numbers is a must know in Mexico. I've noticed that when I switched from "How much?" to "¿Cuanto cuesta?" the coconut price went from 50 to 30 pesos. You really get the worst prices if you speak English here. Now I get coconuts for 25 from a smiling guy with a truck passing by our home 4-6 times a week. And this thing on the picture is a coconut horchata - a local rice barrage.
