Bacta Rogues
Commander Wedge Antilles | Rogue One |
Make everything from the cockpit back black, including the S-foils, and give me a green-and-gold check pattern on the front fuselage. Back when my parents operated a fueling station at Gus Treta, my father was saving up to buy the station and start his own chain. The green, gold, and black were going to be the colors he used for the logo and the uniforms.
Asyr Sei'lar | Rogue Two |
Asyr let a little growl rumble from her throat. “So failure is not an option, eh, Wedge?”
“Not for us, Asyr, not by a long shot.”
Gavin Darklighter | Rogue three |
His fighter had been painted gold, with light red-orange crescents creating a scalelike pattern. Near the front of the fighter, a mouth had been painted with large, white, daggerlike teeth; the proton torpedo launching ports had become the pupils of eyes. When asked how he wanted his X-wing decorated, he’d chosen to make it over in the image of a krayt dragon, the most fearsome predator on all of Tatooine
Riv Shiel | Rogue Four |
Waves of green turbolaser energy washed down from the Star Destroyer’s port batteries. While not made for engaging snubfighters, firing at point-blank range the gunners could hardly miss. The turbolaser fire eroded all the sharp lines from Shiel’s X-wing, reducing it from a sleek fighter to a fluid blob. Riv Shiel’s death had surprised him, but he was able to tell himself that Shiel had died well, in combat, just as he would have wanted to go.
Bror Jace | Rogue Four |
Zraii had put an X-wing together out of parts for Jace. The Thyferran had it painted red with green trim—the corporate colors of Zaltin—and had been checked out on it within three hours of his arrival at Yag’Dhul.
Rhysati Ynr | Rogue Five |
Two minutes to get into position, then we go. Corran nodded and followed Rhysati. He still felt good about the mission. Let’s hope that holds true. Let’s hope the only surprise is that which appears on Yonka’s face.
Inyri Forge | Rogue Six |
Wedge smiled at Inyri Forge. “I know serving with Rogue Squadron was your sister’s dream, but you’ve earned your own place with us. We’d be proud to have you if you want to stay with us.”
A grin slowly spread across the blue-eyed woman’s face. “My sister always wanted the best for everyone else. Joining the squadron meant she got to fight the evil plaguing others, making things better for them. Her example is pretty compelling. I’m in.”
Tycho Celchu | Rogue Seven |
Tycho pointed very specifically at an X-wing that was bloodred except for where white had been splashed at a diagonal down across the nose and the tips of the S-foils. A broad black stripe parted the white from the red. “That one’s mine. I did some checking, and before Alderaan disarmed, that was the color scheme the Alderaan Guard unit near my home used to sport."
Nawara Ven | Rogue Eight |
“You still with me, Eight?”
Nawara Ven’s voice came back a little less calm than Tycho would have wanted. “With you, Seven, just barely.”
“New flight, Eight, then our second run on the Lusankya. You take lead.”
“As ordered, Seven.”
Corran Horn | Rogue Nine |
Well, since we’re no longer part of the New Republic’s Armed Forces, we can’t have ships bearing its insignia or colors, can we? Now, Corran’s ship has always been green with that black and white trim, like his droid, so I thought we might just go ahead and repaint our X-wings to look like whatever we want them to be.
Ooryl Qrygg
Wedge glanced at Ooryl’s white fighter. “You need to include Ooryl’s ship on that list.”
“No, it’s done.”
“But, it’s so plain.”
“Apparently not, if you can see in the ultraviolet range.” Tycho shrugged. “Zraii says it’s a masterpiece.”
Aril Nunb | Rogue Eleven |
He reached out with his right hand and touched Aril Nunb on her left shoulder. “You’ve flown more than fighters. Interested in commanding a War Cruiser?”

Maw Irregular fleet
The TIE fighter prototype was the first of the TIE line manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems and designed by Raith Sienar at the behest of Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin and the Imperial Navy Admiralty. The initial designed lacked structural reinforcement to allow for atmospheric flight.
CANON
The later TIE fighter prototype design added strengthened wing spars which allowed the fighter to enter a planet's atmosphere.
CANON
The TIE/fc starfighter, which stood for "fire control", carried only one laser cannon, as several sensors replaced the second laser cannon found on traditional TIE fighters. It was designed to be help TIE/gt with ground targeting.
EU
The TIE/rc starfighter was a variant of the standard TIE/LN starfighter that was specialized for reconnaissance, used for scouting in both fleet and starfighter wing operations.
EU
The TIE Vanguard was a variant of the TIE/rc starfighter reconnaissance craft.
EU
TIE Vigilant (named by AC Henry) is a "secret" TIE variant used in OT films. Basically ILM used some toys that look differently for the background shots.
CANON?
The Outland TIE fighter was a class of TIE line starfighter that folded it's wings when landing on a levelled surface, allowing for ease of access to the cockpit.
CANON
The TIE Experimental M1, also known as the TIE Bizarro. M1 consisted of a single standard TIE/LN starfighter wing panel with two wing braces connected to a pair of standard TIE series cockpit pods. The port pod held the control systems, and the starboard pod held a turbolaser much heavier than the laser cannons equipped on any previous TIE.
EU
The TIE Experimental M2, also known as the TIE BigGun. M2 was essentially a standard TIE/LN starfighter but with the original chin-mounted laser cannons removed and a pair of turbolaser turrets mounted on the outer wing hubs.
EU
The TIE Experimental M3, also known as the TIE Warhead. M3 was essentially a standard TIE/IN interceptor but with the original laser cannons removed and a pair of warhead launchers mounted on the outer wing hubs.
EU
The TIE Experimental M4, also known as the TIE Bomb, was a guided missile based on TIE Series technology and a part of the TIE Experimental Project. M4 was designed as a cruise missile for destroying capital ships and space stations.
EU
The TIE Experimental M5, also known as the TIE Booster. M5 was essentially a standard TIE/LN starfighter, but with a large booster engine attached to the aft of the fighter. The fighter, thanks to the booster, was much faster than the standard TIE/LN, but its maneuverability was slightly lower.
EU
The TIE/gt (ground-targeting) starfighter was a ground support bomber used by the Galactic Empire during its early years. TIE/gt had an enlarged and reinforced hull, as well as an elongated cockpit to accommodate the starfighter's ordnance bay.
EU
The Heavy TIE Bomber was a starfighter used by the Galactic Empire for heavy assault and mobile artillery missions. The Heavy TIE Bomber could be used in space and atmospheric conditions. The spacecraft was an enhancement to the standard TIE/sa bomber, having dual weapons pods in the place of the original single payload module.
EU
The TIE/sh shuttle, also known as the TIE Command Shuttle, was designed to transport Imperial officers plus a squad of stormtroopers between Imperial-class Star Destroyers.
CANON
The TIE/br boarding shuttle, also known as the TIE Boarding Craft or Imperial boarding craft, was a variant of the TIE/sa bomber used for boarding and troop transportation. The TIE/br boarding shuttle had an enlarged, hollow secondary pod with clamps and a hull-cutter. The primary pod was also large enough to be capable of retrieving escape pods.
CANON
The TIE lander was a large troop transport manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems, based on the design of the TIE/sa bomber. The lander had a triple hull, and could carry a stormtrooper company.
UE
The Scimitar assault bomber was an advanced starfighter/bomber based on TIE Series technology. The Scimitar assault bomber had a single elongated body, and the pilot and gunner sat in a forward, shaped module which could eject from the craft and serve as an escape pod.
UE
The TIE/tb torpedo bomber was a variant of the TIE/sa bomber and was only able to use proton torpedoes.
FANON
An unidentified TIE Series variant incorporating components visibly similar to those comprising the TIE/sa bomber. This hyperspace-capable starfighter was used in a special operation commissioned by Darth Vader to bring his wayward apprentice, an apparent clone of Galen Marek, back under his control.
