Ok! I’m ready to share my impressions of and palette with you.
This “rainbow” bird was painted with these watercolors in about 3,5 hours.
What should I say?!
It was very unusual for me because most of the pigments mix differently from what I have with or The color I get on my porcelain palette turns out to be different on paper and fades away drastically after drying. So I had to make more washes that killed most of wtercolorish effects. Some of the pigments granulate, some are mixed with white and giv

This pheasant was painted especially for a Chinese doctor who treated me recently and was extremely kind and polite.
I heard that in Chine pheasant are known to bring happiness and wealth to people. So I decided to try my patience with all those stripes and waves on its feathers.
I must say I lost my control on the second big feather in its tail????????
That is why the rest of them are less detailed ????
Next bird will have less feathers, I hope ????

Can’t say that it’s much better but it has a velvet like surface that you want to touch all the time???? and the colors stay very vibrant on it. So if you’re into experimenting (as I am????) you could also give it a try????????

Made a little mistake this time going beyond the outline with some sepia color, so had to transform it into more branches and pale background????
